Peachtree Acting Studio was established to provide on-camera acting instruction for students in Cobb County - particularly those near the Marietta Square and west Cobb where options have been limited. Located one block off the Marietta Square with plenty of parking, a dedicated waiting room for guests, and a supportive, dynamic environment, Peachtree Acting Studio aims to provide elite acting instruction at affordable costs for kids, teens, and adults.
Our coaches have a proven track record of getting students signed and booked with multiple SAG projects under their belts - both as working actors in their own rights and by their students. We aim to provide ongoing classes, workshops, camps, and rental space to serve the needs of the Atlanta acting community.
Because we are a new studio, our future is largely going to be shaped by our initial students, so if you have a specific class you would like to see, specific times for classes, workshops, etc., please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know!
Jeanne Morales is represented by Talent Direct Agency and also teaches at The Actors Scene in Gwinnett County. She has been featured in commercial/print work for Delta Airlines, Chick-Fil-A, and is also an experienced model and artist.
Her teaching style revolves around assisting students in allowing themselves to completely let go and break down any walls holding them back from their performances. Jeanne also teaches modeling and personal development to teenage girls with the goal of self-confidence and making strong decisions. She is also working on a fashion blog that will evolve to filmmaking that will incorporate music as storytelling and fashion as a cinematic art.
Veteran Atlanta movie professional Richard Hempton has been involved in the industry for over 30 years, trained at New York Conservatories AMDA and The New School and has been an active member of the Atlanta Film Community since 2003. He teaches a wide range of techniques but specializes in those that bring the actor to a greater awareness of their psycho-physical connection. The mind body connection is often overlooked in pursuit of "The Method" and Richard guides the actor back to a natural, moment to moment, character reactive state.
His students have booked roles on productions such as Baby Driver, Jumanji, The Young Pope, Stranger Things, Good Girls, The Haunting of Hill House, Atlanta, Containment, and Black Lightning. As a working actor himself, Richard currently can be seen as a recurring character on the IFC program Stan Against Evil.
Born in the Bronx, Dominick Racano, is the youngest of five. Growing up in a large, and often times, loud Italian family led Racano to channel his energy and humor into entertaining friends and keeping out of trouble in his neighborhood. Today Racano has more than 30+ film and television credits to his name (including credits in Haunting of Hill House and Cobra Kai) and is a co-founder of Scattered Films and Wild Palette Pictures.
In 2015, the joy of working with youth led to Racano teaching acting and improv to kids ages 6-17, a pursuit he has maintained since then. After receiving a grant, Racano's improv troupe worked in conjunction with Cherokee County schools to perform children's improv and scripted plays, including performances for Deaf and hearing impaired youth. Dominick continues to write, produce, and direct content that stars children.
Alicia Kelley is an Atlanta based actress and acting coach. She has her MFA in Acting from Regent University and her BA in Theatre Performance from Huntington University. Alicia is represented by Atlanta Models and Talent and her credits include roles on The Gifted, The Inspectors, The Righteous Gemstones, and Your Worst Nightmare.
Alicia is excited to be working with Peachtree Acting Studio. She has been an acting teacher and coach in Atlanta for about 3 years now and loves working with actors. Alicia especially finds joy in helping young actors and beginning actors discover their own individual uniqueness and genuineness that will truthfully serve the story they have been cast in or the story they are auditioning for. She is also passionate about producing; creating content and encouraging and enabling other artists to create content and tell the stories that are inside their own hearts. "Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world"- Robert McKee.
